Psych. I'm a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and have worked in a variety of settings providing clinical, community and school based therapeutic services for over 11 years. I work from a client-centered approach and believe that for change to occur there must be a genuine, non-judgemental relationship between the client and the therapist. I also have a bit of a zoo and the animals like to help out whenever they can (even if that’s just through online cameos) I truly believe that therapy needs to be tailored to the individual and as such I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities. I work collaboratively with my clients to help them gain greater awareness and insight and to create balance within their lives. I seek to empower my clients so they can build and draw upon their own internal resources and develop better coping skills to help them deal with whatever life challenges they face. I understand that it can be difficult to reach out and encourage all clients to find someone that they are comfortable talking with.
